Hey, I'm Janine!

SoCopy didn’t start out as a LinkedIn-focused business. Like many of the businesses I now work with, it began in the world of Instagram and Facebook, managing posts, captions, and content calendars for clients who had been told they just needed to 'show up more'.

Over time, it became clear that posting wasn’t the real issue. Many of the business owners I worked with were excellent at what they did, had strong reputations offline, and delivered consistently for their clients. Yet online, they were spending hours creating content that didn’t reflect their experience or lead to meaningful opportunities.

The problem wasn’t effort; it was being in the wrong place.

LinkedIn kept standing out as the platform where experience, professionalism, and clarity actually matter. Not as a place for awkward networking or corporate buzzwords, but as a platform where businesses can be taken seriously, even if they’re local, trade-based, or service-led.

When used properly, LinkedIn allows trust to be built before a conversation even starts.

That’s why SoCopy now focuses on helping businesses either move onto LinkedIn with support or learn how to use LinkedIn confidently

themselves.

Some business owners want LinkedIn handled for them so they can focus on running their business. Others want to understand the platform, find their voice, and feel confident posting. Both approaches are built around the same principles - clarity, consistency, and authority.

What often gets missed with social media is everything that sits behind it. LinkedIn isn’t just about posting content and hoping for the best.

Behind the scenes, I work on the things that actually turn visibility into sales - refining messaging, shaping positioning, mapping content to the buyer journey, and making sure there’s a clear path from 'I’ve seen this business' to 'I trust them enough to get in touch'.

Content is just one part of that process, and it only works when it’s supported by the right structure.

My approach to LinkedIn is straightforward. You don’t need to be clever, controversial, or constantly visible. You need to be clear about what you do, who you help, and how people are supposed to take the next step.

When that’s in place, content becomes simpler, more intentional, and far more effective.

I work best with business owners who care about their reputation and want their online presence to reflect the quality of their work. If you’re proud of what you do but feel your current social media doesn’t show it — or isn’t helping you win the right work — this is where LinkedIn and SoCopy can help.

If you’re ready to step away from the daily grind of Instagram and Facebook and focus on a platform built for real business growth, the next step is simply to talk it through and decide whether coaching or done-for-you support is the right fit.
